An overview of writing in college
In college you will encounter many types of writing. As you will find, different classes require different types of writing. An English course might require you to complete a literary analysis, while Chemistry might entail a detailed lab report and Human Communications might ask that you perform a persuasive speech. Every type of writing, whether it be cause and effect, comparison and contrast, process analysis, or persuasion, requires different elements.
